Annual James Cistern children's Christmas party sponsored by Wildstudies.

For the last several years, past Wild Women participant Carol Burns and her Girl Scout troop purchase, wrap, and ship Christmas presents for every child in our local village of James Cistern. This year Carol and the girls were honored and presented with a plaque, received by Director Jim Jordan for delivery by mail. A plaque was also presented to our Wild Studies airline, Lynx Air Int. for their many years of free delivery of Christmas items and books for the library. Wild Studies, through your summer donations, provided hams and turkeys while huge pots of stuffing, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and potato salad were provided by Town Chairwoman Sue Rolle and other local volunteers. We have partnered with Sue for many years on a number of projects including the establishment of the first Library in James Cistern. She is a driving force in that community. Our THANKS and Happy Holidays to Carol and her scouts, Lynx Air Int. and Sue Rolle.
